Tammy McLaughlin, CPS

Denali is a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC) through the Missouri Credentialing Board. He and his family moved to the Branson area to start a new life. He is a counselor with Dynamic New Visions. He has worked for the program for several years, while completing his Psychology degree.  He provides outpatient addiction services such as individual counseling, group counseling, and group education.  He is passionate about this field because he wants to give back what was given to him over the years, and be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem. 

 

Tammy McLaughlin is a Certified Peer Specialist. She has been a CPS since 2014 and has expanded her credentials to include MPS (Missouri Prevention Specialist), MARS (Medication Assisted Recovery Specialist), CRPR (Certified Reciprocal Peer Recovery Specialist), ICRC (International Certified Reciprocal Specialist). Tammy also completed Mental Health First Aid and Crisis Intervention Team training. She provides recovery coaching services to individuals. Tammy also facilitates group education on topics such as life skills, relapse prevention, and problem solving. Tammy believes working as a peer specialist impacts her life in a positive way as she reaches out and assists others in their recovery.

Meet the founder of Dynamic New Visions, LLC! Over the last thirty years, Merna’s experience in the field of addiction and recovery includes: serving as alternative sentencing advocate in the Los Angeles court system, the executive director of a thirty-bed men’s rehabilitation center, program director at a 15 bed women’s facility, and the owner of sober living homes in Los  Angeles Count, CA. She is a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor, (CRADC) through the Missouri Credentialing Board and is a Certified Anger Management Facilitator She served as the Executive Director for Sigma House, Inc. until its merger with Burrell Behavioral Health. She spear-headed Sigma House’s CARF accreditation. She has received numerous awards for her service to the field of recovery and has served on several boards related to this field. She is currently the chair of the Missouri Continuing Education Consortium. Merna also serves as the President of the Board for Simmering Center, Inc. and Dynamic New Visions, LLC outpatient counseling services. She is on the administrative team of Dynamic New Visions.

Meet Our Team

Kim Phillips is part of the administrative team here at Dynamic New Visions, LLC. She completes all billing, substance use assessment scheduling, and class/group schedules. She also strives to strengthen the community’s knowledge about addiction, stigma, and recovery support services available and how they can help. Kim is an active recovery advocate for the community in which she lives and works. She is deeply driven by principles of social impact, innovation, and sustainability.  She strongly believes in the significance of generosity and humility, of being a community member, and the power of solutions, integrity and dignity as a whole.
